Newsletter Friday 28th November

Message from the head

Happy Friday, Queen’s Park Families!

We’d like to start by saying a big thank you to QPSA for organising two fantastic Movie Nights for our pupils. The children looked so cosy and excited as they enjoyed popcorn and festive films over the last two weeks!

We are also extremely proud of all the Kindness Award nominations we have received recently. Pupils have been spotted holding doors open, smiling at others, picking up litter, helping friends, and showing kindness all around the school. Today we celebrated our Kindness Award winners in our Celebration Assembly, and we look forward to sharing some “Kindness at Queen’s Park” videos with families soon.

Across the school, we continue to model positive interactions and are pleased to see pupils playing safely and respecting each other’s boundaries. Positive, friendly behaviour helps everyone feel happy and included, and we are celebrating these moments both in and out of the classroom. Over the next few weeks, we’ll keep developing games and activities that encourage positive play.

Thank you for your continued support and for being such an important part of our school community.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

Best wishes,

Emma Gale

Christmas Carols

Christmas Carols (Years 1 -6) are planned for after school on Tuesday 9th December, weather permitting. If they are not able to take place on Tuesday they will take place on Wednesday 10th instead.

Children taking part will remain at school until 4pm in classes with their teachers. They should bring a snack, a drink, warm coat, scarf and gloves etc. for this time please. They can bring a Christmas themed hat if they wish.

Parents will come into the playground for a 4pm start and the event will finish by 5pm.

The children will then go back to class, collect their things and be released (as usual) by their class teachers.
