Queen's Park is a welcoming and inclusive school. We are proud of our diverse school community, and celebrate all children's achievements. We believe we are all different, but all equal, and work to ensure all children can achieve their full potential and access all out school has to offer.

As a school, we pride ourselves on high-quality teaching in the classroom, every day. Our skilled staff adapt teaching during the planning stage and in the moment to support the range of needs in any classroom. In addition to in class adaptations (tier one adaptations), we aso use evidence-based supplementary interventions where necessary to provide further, small-group support to ensure children progress, enjoy and achieve.

We are really proud of our Internal Inclusion Spaces (IIS), Meadow and Forest Room. By establishing these new spaces, we have been able to provide an increasingly bespoke offer for children with complex communication needs and those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

If you have any concerns about your child, please raise these with their class teacher who will be best placed to offer feedback and support.

An ideal time to do this is parent's evening. If your concerns cannot wait until then, please speak to them about finding another time. This can be done by speaking to the teacher or emailing them through our admin address: admin@queenspark.brighton-hove.sch.uk

Our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENDCo) is Jo Clark. Jo works with a wide range of external professionals, specialist teachers, our in house Learning Mentors and our team of TAs to ensure that children get the academic and pastoral support they need to reach their full potential.

Please read our SEN Information Report, and if you would like more information please make an appointment via admin@queenspark.brighton-hove.sch.uk or by calling 01273 686822.
