Message from the head
It has been a wonderfully spooky day in school today! Children looked fabulous in their costumes and thank you to families for not allowing any toy weapons!
Thank you QPSA - you are fabulous. The effort and attention to detail to run these events is so appreciated. We are always looking for more families to join the QPSA so please email if you are interested!
The last 7 weeks have flown by as usual and children and staff have worked their socks off - well done everyone! I cannot believe that we will be coming back to all things Christmassy - I am far too excited about which Christmas songs we will start to learn in singing assembly...
You may have noticed the road closure has been temporarily removed. We wrote a while ago to let families know about the School Streets Programme across the city. All schools with a temporary road closure were asked to remove them. Those with permanent road closures (bollards/gates) were able to continue. The council is currently in consultation to install Automatic Number Plate Recognition to be able to issue tickets if the road is used during the road closure time. We will be feeding back to the council that we are keen for a plan around temporary road closures as soon as possible as we know that it is much safer for our children with that in place.
Have a wonderful half-term break everyone. I look forward to seeing you all in Autumn 2!

afterschool club update
This term has been a particularly busy and rewarding one in our afterschool club's cooking sessions on Wednesdays.
Each week, the children have immersed themselves in a variety of culinary activities, showcasing enthusiasm, creativity and a growing confidence in the kitchen. From preparing simple snacks to experimenting with new recipes, the session has offered a hands on learning experience that has been both educational and enjoyable.
The children have demonstrated impressive teamwork. It has been heartening to see how much the children have enjoyed these sessions.
We look forward to continuing this journey next term, with even more delicious discoveries to come.
