Message from the Head

Dear Families,

It has been a wonderful and busy time in school, and I would like to start by saying a huge thank you to everyone who helped make our recent World Book Day celebrations so special. The children looked absolutely fantastic in their costumes, and it was a joy to see such creativity and enthusiasm on display. Our costume parade was a real highlight, with pupils proudly sharing their favourite characters with the whole school community.

Our Spring Art Competition has also been a great success. We were incredibly impressed by the creativity, effort and imagination shown in the entries. The artwork displayed around the school created a beautiful art trail for everyone to enjoy, and it was lovely to see families and children taking the time to walk around and appreciate the different pieces. Thank you to all the pupils who took part and shared their wonderful creations. We have now chosen our Queen’s Park finalists, and their artwork is currently being displayed at Jubilee Library in Brighton. We wish them the very best of luck and will keep you updated on the results of the wider school competition.

As we head into the final two weeks of term, we are looking forward to all that is still to come. It is always a busy and exciting time in school, and we look forward to continuing to share these moments with our community. I also hope to see many of you at our upcoming ‘Coffee at the Gate’ mornings over the next few weeks — a lovely opportunity to connect and chat informally at the start of the day.

Warm regards,

Mrs Gale

The Busy Beavers are recruiting!

Join the Fun at Busy Beavers After School Club!

Looking for a safe, fun and engaging place for your child after school? Busy Beavers After School Club runs Monday to Friday from 3:20pm to 6:00pm, giving children the perfect opportunity to relax, play and explore after a busy school day.

At Busy Beavers, every day is filled with exciting activities designed to keep children active, creative and happy. Our weekly programme includes arts and crafts, sports, cooking sessions, construction activities, puzzles and many more fun challenges that encourage creativity, teamwork and confidence.

Our cooking sessions are always a favourite! This week the children had a fantastic time baking delicious cheese scones, learning simple cooking skills while enjoying the fun of mixing, measuring and tasting their creations. The results were amazing and the children were very proud of what they made!

Busy Beavers provides a friendly, supportive environment where children can unwind, make new friends and try something new every day.

We would love to welcome more children to join the Busy Beavers family!
