Newsletter Friday 9th January
Message from the Head
Dear QP families,
Happy New Year. I hope you all had a restful break.
We've had a fantastic week back in school. I walked off the gate on Wednesday to be greeted by the sight of children straight back into their learning. So many house points have been awarded and it seems our children are fired up to show the very best of themselves for 2026.
Queen’s Park Primary is continually strengthening our provision in line with our identified improvement priorities. As you will be aware, there has been an updated Ofsted Education Inspection Framework so the old terms such as 'good' and 'requires improvement' are no longer used. To help families understand the new framework, we are sharing a short video that explains a bit about the new framework via the link below. As a school, we are not changing direction but are actively preparing to showcase out improvements to date to Ofsted, who we expect may visit at any time.

You should have received a link to a parent survey. Please do complete this with feedback for us. We look forward to reading your responses.
Have a lovely weekend everyone.
Best wishes,

Extra-Curricular Activities - Spring Term
Please see below a link to the Extra-Curricular timetable for the Spring term. We have a wide variety of extra-curricular clubs including a brand new Musical Theatre club and a second Gymnastics session on Fridays. Some of the clubs are run by Queen's Park Primary staff and others by external organisations, if the club you are interested in is run by an external organisation please use the links in the timetable to find out further information and to book your child a place. If there is not a high enough demand for a club we reserve the right to cancel it, please take the time to consider all the clubs on offer and book your child a place before Monday the 12th of January to avoid disappointment.
