In maths we have been continuing to look at fractions. We have been counting in halves and quarters as well as comparing and ordering fractions.  You can practise counting in halves, quarters and thirds with your child at home.

Next week we will find fractions of numbers. For example 1/2 of 8 etc.

In English we have continued using adverbs and conjunctions in our writing. Could your child give you a sentence that starts with ‘interestingly’? Can they give you a sentence using ‘because’?

Don’t forget to keep reading at home and counting in 2s, 5s, 10s and 3s.
