This week Year 2 have been working hard on their times tables. They have been learning the 2s, 5s and 10s. They have been using practical resources but the focus has been on using their fingers to count. For example, for 5 x 2, they hold up five fingers and count up in twos. They are learning up to 12 lots in each times table.

It would be very helpful if children could practise these at home.
