This week in Year 3

In English, we have finished writing our adventure stories. They have been incredibly inventive and we are really impressed with everyone’s hard work. This week we have started to use our brand new poetic language to create our own autumn poetry.

In Maths, we have been grasping the concept of column addition and applying our place value knowledge. The children are enjoying their Maths No Problem workbooks and have made great progress in them already.

We have been looking at magnets in science and have been experimenting and investigating which materials are magnetic.

In our topic work we’ve been extremely interested in why the River Nile is so important to Egyptians and we painted our own interpretation of the River Nile. Please pop in to see your children’s work.

Have a great week!
