Programming Bee-Bots

Year 2 have started their new Computing Unit on programming in space! So far they have learned that an algorithm is a set of instructions and they have used this knowledge to program each other as rockets on a journey to the moon. Then they were able to use these skills to program a Bee-Bot to navigate a course in space.

Over the coming weeks we will be learning how to code on a computer using the program Scratch. If you and your child would like to have a go at home, then you can use Scratch for free online. There are lots of tutorials and other programs to interact with. Scratch can be found at: https://scratch.mit.edu/

What will you create?
